Maroondah Healthy Ageing Network
The Maroondah Healthy Ageing Network meets quarterly to share information ideas and resources between groups providing services and support to people over 50 in the City of Maroondah. Membership is open to any community group or organization catering to older persons in Maroondah.
The
network organizes combined events such as the Seniors Jazz concert held
during Maroondah Seniors Week. It has also co-operated with the
City of Maroondah to assist some of their projects such as the Seniors
Expo and the production of banners illustrating positive aspects of
ageing.
Chatterbox Newsletter
The Healthy Ageing Network also publishes a quarterly newsletter containing information, news and a calendar of events. The master calendar from which this is drawn can be viewed on this web site by clicking on one of the days in the left hand column. We hope by publishing this newsletter and this web site we can reach out and engage any older persons in Maroondah who may be isolated and who can benefit by connecting with one of our groups.
